hard to describe this sound, but i think its coming form the area near the harddrive and havent had any issues with the drive at all since owning this.
it randomly makes a noise, not a clicking noise or SMS noise....more like when you roll a marble on a table but its for a quick second and not consistent or happens in any sort of pattern.
and i use a wireless mouse so im not hitting and resting my palms on the trackpad area either..

im wondering if its just parking the drive head?

the system hardly moves much and is usually stationary etc.

(Drive is a 320GB Fujitsu MHZ2320BH FFS G1 stock apple drive)

any ideas?
