Hi! I recently bought myself a 4K recording video camera and was wondering how my mac would fare for 4k video editing or any kind of video editing. It is the base model with an i7 2.0 ghz and 8gb ram. My camera has not arrived yet but given the time frame I would like to know different opinions. My current options are selling this one and buying a new Mac but considering the use I give my mac I do not know if its a reasonable purchase. Having the quickest mac does nothing for me as I am currently spending my time buying ebooks and studying almost 90% of my time.
