Early 2005 Powermac G5 - Graphics card upgrade from ATI Radeon 9650???????

Hey guys,

I have an early 2005 Powermac G5 and I want to upgrade my video card from the ATI Radeon 9650. Unfortunately I do not have a PCI Express slot in my G5 and my avenues are standard AGP, PCI or PCI-X.

Can anyone please advise what they think is the best option for me to take to get some life out of my beast.

And by the way, I have the 30-inch apple display of which I run the full resolution of 2560x1600.

I have a similar power mac i upgraded to a nvidia geforce 6800 ultra ddl a long time ago this card was the best and it can run 2 x 30". I have had no problems with mine the drivers are good from apple. Meanwhile i drool at the fx 5600......
