Early 2008 iMac continues to have kernel panics.. Any help? (log inside)

I had them seldom with Snow Leopard - upgraded to Mountain Lion and they happen pretty frequently now. I took the RAM out, cleared out any dust, and put it back in.. I have 4GB in there currently..

I just dont know what to do ... it renders the computer useless for the most part.

Was it a clean install or an upgrade? If possible, I would recommend backing up all important items and performing a format and clean install to see if that solves any problems. Also, another thing to do would be to use the original install disks to perform a hardware test.

the Mountain Lion is an upgrade, but I did a clean install of Snow Leopard to try and cure the problems originally and I think I still ran into the issue.

I guess I will have to try it again..
