Hi,
I'm looking to install a storage HDD in my early 2008 iMac's optibay. I saw the 2008 iMac compatible 12.7 mm PATA Optical Bay SATA Hard Drive Enclosure on iFixit but it is $40, whereas on Amazon I saw the HP Pata IDE to SATA 12.7mm Universal 2nd HDD Caddy ($14) and the HDE® 12.7mm SATA HDD Caddy to PATA ($12).
Would those less expensive ones work comparably / be compatible? I'd like to save the money (as long as I wouldn't regret it later).
