Early 2008 Macbook Pro battery

I invite suggestions for where to purchase a replacement battery for a 15" early 2008 Macbook Pro battery. I live in Canada and have to order online. The reviews on the battery offered by Apple aren't so favourable, so I'm wondering if there's a better alternative? If not so be it, but I'd like to shop around.

I wouldn't trust or recommend any non-Apple battery, due to the number of problems reported with "knockoff" batteries. Also, there is no assurance that knockoff batteries have the same charging technology that Apple uses, involving the battery, the MagSafe adapter and the Mac's logic board.

I've bought a laptop battery from them before, they have a good reputation.

I had OK luck with third party batteries off Amazon (based on product reviews there).

I could get like 3-4 of them versus retail @ Apple.
