I just got my early 2008 2.5 C2D MBP from Apple's refurbished store on the 23rd and already it has went through a few glitches.

1. I once logged out of my account after using LR2, put it sleep, but it didn't go to sleep so I did a hard shut down instead. I rebooted to go into Safe mode but I pressed the Command + S keys  so I ran fsck instead.

2. Received the 4 GB RAM that I ordered from OWC, logged out and hit Shut Down, the screen turns blue with a black strip on top with some white letters in it where then it shuts down. After upgrading the RAM I boot up to a screen with black stripes at the bottom of the screen. Fixed it using the Command + Shift + Eject keys and pressing a key to wake up the MBP.

Tested RAM with Memtest for 3 passes and it said everything passed.:D

3. Every time when logging into my Yahoo! account after entering my user name and hit the Tab key to enter my password, the Input menu of International changes from the US flag to the Romaji menulet.

Other than the few glitches so far I really like the MBP, but I'm wondering if this is an omen for worse things to come.
