Early 2008 MBP GPU problem

I have read about this quite a LOT of times on this forum. Just wanted some info on it.

1. Does this happen with every early 2008 model?

2. Is it affecting every model? I mean I read somewhere that the 2.5 Ghz (512MB VRAM) and the 17" do not have this issue.

3. Apart from the screen flickering, what other problems can one face?

4. Do the early 2008 models have ANY other issues of concern?
