Early 2011 13 MacBook Pro Trackpad

Just curious, Ive had my refurb 13 macbook pro for about a month. It seems the bottom part of the trackpad clicks easier than the upper half. Is this normal or have I just not noticed I usually click there and it gets easier over time? The top half seems slightly stiffer. Hard to explain.

They're all like that. I've tried on mine (2011 core i5 13", and 2008 Aluminum Macbook), my friend's 2010 15", and others in the local Apple Store. I think the top part of the trackpad is fixed to the body of the laptop, sort-of like a door hinge.

Yeah, the top is where the hinge is. I don't recommend pushing on it at the top very much, it's possible to break it if you do.

Perfect thanks. I figured it wasn't just mine. Just curious. Im used to clicking at the bottom anyway.
