Hey guys.

So I received my MacBook Pro 13" a few days ago.
I started using my external monitor, because I wanted to watch some movies.
I am currently experiencing some strange problems.
Sometimes, the screen flicks. Sometimes it makes small grey dots around the screen. And sometimes, it even turns off the monitor for a second.
Also, I run my MacBook Pro in clampshell mode, and sometimes when I wake it up, it goes to sleep right after entering password.

Here's a video. I didn't touch anything except my iPhone during this one minute clip.

Here is a clip of the external monitor, when there's a dark background:

I am using the following items:
Mini display port to HDMI cable (Black one, unaware of the brand)
HDMI to HDMI cable (1M)
LG Flatron W2361V monitor (Set to 1080p)
All of the cables are firmly plugged in.

The monitor turned off and on 4 times while writing this. As well as several flicks.

I got exactly the same problem with my MBP 13 2011 and LG E2260V. I used to use mini-display port to display port adaptor and display port to DVI cable. The problem is fixed by using mini-display port to DVI adaptor and single link DVI to DVI cable.
Definitely problem with Mac and thunderbolt port since both methods work fine under window 7.

Mine's working fine again, no flickering, no black outs... Strange!

This has been reported before. I believe there is an software update
on the Apple web site to cure this problem.
