I need some technical advises! I have a MBP8.2 15-inch, early 2011, (MC721LL/A) with the original HD of 500GB Serial ATA @5400 rpm on. I was thinking of replacing the built-in Super Drive DVD-R with a Samsung MZ-75E250B/EU EVO 850 SSD 250GB SATA, in order to store more data and increase the speed of retrieving them. Do you have any caddy to suggest? Do you have any other HD to suggest? Moreover, I was thinking of swapping the 'new' with the 'old' HD; say install a fast SSD in the place of the original and install the original HD in a caddy. What do you think? How can I install the OS in the new HD? I am not worried about my data as I have them stored in external drives as well.
