early 2011 mbp 24+ hours on boot up screen!?

hey all,

I bought the Lion app from the app store. Downloaded and initially after the install it went to the boot up screen and its seriously stayed there for 24 hours. I did a hard shut down/reboot and it went straight back to the boot up screen.. that was 4 hours ago.. am i experiencing "indexing" ? i have an early/spring 2011 15'' mbp, radeon graphics, quad core i7.

**** it. im resorting back to SL.. that was rediculous.. 2011 mac book STUCK on boot up screen.. hard to beleive no1 on here has any insight .

HAHA that does lighten things up... Why would they release such a buggy "app".. I dont think ill be attempting to re-install os x lion for some time.

Man, LION should have been renamed to "OSX Lion Betta" because it's been in betta version since the beggining!
