Hi all, I hope one of you can help.
I got a 15 MBP in August of this year. Lately I have noticed that it doesn't charge right.
If I have the laptop on and open and connect the charger, the light turns orange as if it is charging and then within 5 minutes the light just turns off and no longer charges.
To get around this, I can close the top of the laptop, plug it into the charger, and wait about 5 minutes. After 5 minutes I can open the top and use it and the computer will fully charge and light stay orange (until charged when it turns green).
Anyone have any idea what the heck could be going on? It's covered under Applecare, but the local technician already looked at the charger once and said it was fine.
