A classmate is offering to sell me his Early MacBook Pro Retina 15" for $300.

The keyboard is sticky. (I would told that it's from a spill over a year ago.)

Apple Diagnostics show no problem.

I also ran Engine Heaven and Benchbench on it and it has no problem with those either.

I remove the bottom case and check the all liquid submersion indicators (that I can see) and they are all white.

Battery Cycle Count is 1011 and the laptop is showing "Replace Battery".

The display has staingate.

Should I buy it?

Yea or nay?

For $300? Go for it.

You can have Apple replace the battery and keyboard fairly easily - the battery is, I think, $199 for a rMBP.
