Early 2013 Retina MBP: path to upgrade to SSD?

Posting this for my son. I’m not familiar with this model in terms of moving from HD to SSD?

Can someone please quickly take me to school? Even a link to what I need. I’m sure it’s an SSD on a card or pcb or something? Not a 2.5” replacement?

The Early 2013 rMBPro does not have a HDD. Only a flash SSD.

If you are wanting more capacity, then you have to be sure you get the correct flash memory type, with compatible connector.
