Early 2013 rMBP SSD adapter

It looks like a nice product, BUT according to the "Product Description" and the first question in the "Customer Questions & Answers" section it is not for the 2013 MBP. It only works for the 2012 MBP.
 
Perhaps, however the mid 2012 rMBP and EARLY 2013 both use the sata 6G/s connection while the late 2013 used a different PCIe x2 and the newer ones an x4.

More curious if people have had experience with these types of solutions. I amaware in the newer PCIe versions it is't fesible. (LATE-2013 onwards)
