Hi guys,

I'm due an upgrade coming from a 13" MBP 2009 model.

It's been a while since I ventured back onto these forums and the excitement levels are peaking however as I've been in the dark over the latest cycles - i'm quite surprised at Apple restricting the potential for upgrades.

Regardless - I am hoping any seasoned veterans can help me make a choice, please keep in mind I primarily use my macbook for audio recording usage and I'm expecting the ps4 to cover my gaming needs - as such I dont think a dedicated GPU is needed (correct me if I'm wrong).

I am discounting the new 15" as I can't justify paying 2788$ SGD for no integrated GPU - and I think spending 3588$ SGD for the next model would be overkill for my needs.

This leaves the MBP 13". Considering the parts are non-upgradeable I'd want to max out on the RAM at least.

2.6GHz model/512GB storage for the 13" with 16GB ram is at 2767$ SGD

2.4GHz/256GB Storage for the 13" with 16GB ram is at 2300$ SGD

This makes the following models appealing in the refurb store:

Early 2013 13" 2.6 GHz - 8GB RAM /256GB storage @ 1738$ SGD
Early 2013 15" 2.4GHz - 16GB RAM/256GB storage @ 2568$ SGD

--Looking at the above price ranges - the most tempting would be the Early 2013 15"

Unless I am missing some differences in processor between the early/late models?

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks
