Early 2014 MBA running hotter on Yosemite?

Has anyone experienced higher temperatures on their machines while running Yosemite? The upper left corner of my laptop is now always hot where in Mavericks it stayed cool to the touch. Now I know the heat won't cause any damage especially since it is not even hot enough to kick the fans into action, I'm just wondering if anyone else has experienced this.
