The hard drive in my Early 2015 Model Macbook A1466 mmggf2ll/a died on me the other day. Took it to two different repair shops and they confirmed the SSD was indeed dead. I'm on a really tight budget and looking for the cheapest 128/256GB drive + adapter combo to replace the factory SSD with and was wondering if any you could recommend a cost-effective solution? I simply can't afford $150+ for a new drive at the moment but desperately need my MacBook for school and work. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

eBay!

Here is a 128GB SSD that will work in your MBA ($65.99 and free shipping):
https://www.ebay.com/itm/SSD-Drive-...:oQwAAOSwjXNbNWb6:sc:USPSPriority!02817!US!-1

This one is a 256GB SSD that will work in your MBA ($120 and free shipping):
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Apple-MacB...h=item26125af43a:g:Nj8AAOSwqoxcUimZ:rk:6:pf:0

This is probably the best pricing you will find in a crunch.
