Hi,

i'd like to know what experienced users know about the following things:

1.) How does heat management work for this model? I'm interested in something like this (found this piece of information on the web about a 2011 model):
- Apple's design is for the MBP to run a maximum of 90C stabilized under full load
- @ 95C Apple's system goes into full-cooldown mode (fully ramped fans)
- @ 100C Apple begins throttling the system
- @ 105C+ Thermal shutdown is supposed to occur

2.) I use Monity for monitoring temperatures on this OS X El Capitane system (10.11.2). At the moment in Activity Monitor the highest CPU usage for some processes occasionally is max. 20%. Is 50Celsius CPU core temperature normal for general use like typing this very text in the browser?
3.) Running a modern CPU+GPU intensive game makes the CPU core to be constantly above 90Celsius (with occasional peaks of 105Celsius). Is that normal? Does it cause any harm to the hardware if i use it on this rate for hours?
4.) In general, what is the accepted temperature range?

Thanks!
