early core duo imac additional display question

I was wondering if the early core duo imac can handle an additional screen of 1280x1024. It is the 1.8ghz core duo imacs

i am running windows 7 on it and would like an additional screen and was wondering if the gfx card would be able to handle it

It can support an external monitor of 1920x1080.

You would need an adaptor as I think it only has a mini-DVI port.

ok cool thanks i didn't know whether or not it would work since there is so little memory and i thought the bigger you go the more memory on the graphics you would need
