What are the chances those that preordered through Apple will have their phones delivered Thursday instead of Friday? This happened last year. A lot of the preorders were delivered the day before the scheduled release.

right now with Sprint we are seeing orders having tracking numbers assigned to the order, however, this doesn't mean it's shipped. This just means we printed out the label for it and are waiting to ship them.
I was just thinking the same thing myself. I just remembered that last year's deliveries arrived a day early.
I think that if it happened last year, I don't see what it wouldn't happen this year. I think Apple would much rather have someone get their iPhone a day early then a day late.
