Is $929 considered a truly good price for an early 2011 13" MBP 4/320 configuration? That is only $170 off from original $1099 price, and for a year old refurbished model. Any reason to get a late 2011 or wait for 2012 update?...Trying to stay at/under $1k...

Thanks

i just bought the refurb 13 inch 2.7 ghz model today so we shall see. I thought it was a great deal and it is my first Mac.

Did you go thru Apple store? Guess if you got 13" 2.7 ghz, it was different configuration and price?

my 2.7 I7 was 1189$ which would have come to around the same price after tax if i went in to the store and bought a brand 2.4 I5 model.

and yes i went through the apple store.

I just bought an early 2011 13" MBP on clearance at best buy, but was the i7 model for 1199$ new, untouched in all its glory...

I used to have a early 2011 15" MBP quad core... But left my job and had to turn that one in... I do like the portability that the 13" offers.

Good luck with yours!
