I already upgraded to a 7200rpm hd and up to 4gb ram. Anything else that would help boost speed? Can you upgrade the video ram or video card, or is all of that built into the logic board?

Thanks.

Nothing. I have the same machine and have done the same upgrades and that's as good as it gets. Also, for some reason OS X recognizes 4GB, but applications can only use 3.5.

Maybe add an SSD, but you've already bought the new 7200 RPM HDD.

Everything else is soldered to the motherboard. You might be able to get a motherboard with an 8600M GT with more memory and a faster processor, but that would be quite expensive and it may or may not work.

Well you can replace the optical drive with another HDD or better a SSD.

You can further upgrade the RAM to 6GB.
