Early monring data usage

I was just looking through my bill and it appears that my phone is sending out data every night just after 12:00 am. Is there any way I can tell what it is doing or try to figure it out. In some cases, it appears that the data being sent out is not a small amount.

Is this just a routine of my daily total or something like that?

This has been discussed ad nauseum before. Basically, all the little bits of data like push notifications and such that are too small to be tracked individually are aggregated and displayed as occurring in the middle of the night
