Early Geekbench results on the Retina 4GHz iMac show it being 25% faster than the 2013 6-core Mac Pro in single-core tasks and only 15% slower than the 6-core Mac Pro on multi-core tasks.

I found this info on one of the MR Mac Pro threads.

This is definitely the Mac power users choice!
