Just for clarification my Watch was ordered on day 2 when it said 3-4 weeks for delivery time.

This is Apple's method of operation when it comes to ordering a lot of their items. They do projects a later ship date, but in all likelihood, you will receive it ahead of time before it actually ships on the date they provided you originally.

Sometimes carriers are responsible for shipping delays, but Apple seems fairly conservative with their delivery dates and when to expect the Product.

It wasn't shipped out of Apple until a day after the predicted delivery window though, but this a rare case as usually you get them before. Think they had issues keeping up with demand, that's all.
