That is.... pricey. Just over a £1000/year on the 100gb one to have the latest iPhone. I'm assuming that is the 64gb one as well.

I've estimated it would be about £12.50 per month more than the 8 as the equivalent models are £300 more.

Saw this this morning, decided to go for the 8 Plus on the same tariff as I am on now for £50 upfront (X tariff was £15 more pm for same amount upfront) . I spend most of my time in EU and surrounding countries and can only use 15gb data when "Roaming" so 100gb is not needed (also who the hell uses 100gb data on their phone!)

The plan is to use the 8 for a month, then sell my 256gb 7Plus and my fiances 64gb 6Plus and buy the X outright. My Fiancé will receive the 8 Plus and I will have the X

Yeah 64GB is all they have right now..surely they will stock the 256GB
Maybe they decided not to pick it up as they dont think its worth it.

If thats the price for 64GB, the 256 could be pushing into £90+.

The EE prices - I just saw a EE 30GB sim only for £18 on HUKD, If you combined it with the Upgrade plan it works out at £74.50. Which is only £3 cheaper but you'll get double the data, either method you go its not cheap!

Think it's almost better Just to get sim only and go with Apple via IUP
For the X on EE over 2 years I make it £500 cheaper to get SIM only!

EE tariff £83 x 24 + £10 = £2002
EE SIM Only £21x24 + £999 = £1504

Admittedly the tariff is 100Gb and the SIM only is 18Gb, but I've never gone over 10Gb in two years, and that's on a shared data plan with my wife and also CarPlay streaming every day.
