Hi all,

I had a 2 year contract with at&t purchased last year for an iPhone 3Gs when the ETF was $175. I just want to be sure, but I'm assuming if I sign an early upgrade for the iPhone 4 for a new 2 year contract, then I will now have the new ETF of $300+ ?

Yes, it should be $325 now.

If you feel pretty sure you will break your contract, it will probably be more cost effective to just buy the phone at the no contract price.

That depends on what the no contract price is and when they're available.

$199 + $325 + one month of service may still be cheaper than the no contract price.
