Early Upgrade preorder through AT&T will allow you to keep Unlimited Data Plan?

Im on the grandfathered unlimited data plan for AT&T and have an early upgrade 199 +250 +36 for new iphone 5. if i upgrade through att website and preorder will it allow me to keep the same plan is that correct.

also is it better to preorder through att or apple?
