Earphone connector sucks.....

I had the iPhone for a week now. One thing I dont like is the earphone connector. If you pull it out too fast or too slow, then sometimes the iPhone still thinks the headphones are plugged in. I have to put in the headphones again and take it out.

Is there a fix for this connector? Its getting annoying.

This has been known to happen sporadically, but if it happens all the time for you, you might consider taking it in to the genius bar.

My cousin just had this happen to his this weekend. I've never had any issues with mine. Seems to be a pretty common issue though.

I agree with Neven. If it's doing it all the time you really need a different one. Mine has done it twice in 6 months.

Never happened for me...but that was the same case for my Macbook Pro when it was on Tiger =/.
