On Apple's website, the 3G comes with "Stereo headset with mic" yet the 3GS comes with "Apple Earphones with Remote and Mic". What's the difference?

I think the "remote" Seems like they will have the same updated earphones as the new shuffle.

It would have been REALLY nice if they included the IN-EAR buds. I love those...

Hmm you both seem to be right. It's the same earphones as the Shuffle, but with a mic.
Now I can stop talking to the ex for good, since he took my last pair of earphones with the mic. I only used them in the car as "hands-free" and I hate having to worry about taking my Senhiessers in there with me

I wish those fancy in-ear headphones worked with the 3G.

Those fancy in-ear headphones do work with the 3G. I own them. The only thing you can't do with them is control the volume. Everything else functions fine.
