I got my iPhone 5 in early October. I have probably used my EarPods everyday since then. Just recently the left earpod has lost it's bass and is much softer than the right. The weird thing is that it this only happens when I start listening to music. After listening to half a song or so, the left earbud is almost the same volume as the right but noticeably softer. And, sometimes it will go back to no bass and very soft. Anyone experience this? Looking for a solution.

As someone on my THIRD pair of EarPods, I can tell you that if you either go to the store, or call AppleCare, they'll give you a new pair with no hassle. Even if you clean them, like it says on the support page, it doesn't solve these issues.

I really think that we'll see a new design of these once the new iThings are out next year. They sound great, but are poorly made.

Alright thanks, I will head there this weekend.
