For those of you living in Southern California, who is your internet provider?

I'll be in the market for a new ISP in a couple of days but am doing some research. My monthly price range = $40 no more than $50. I'm currently looking at EarthLink Cable, AT&T DSL, and TimeWarner/RoadRunner Cable.

I use Time Warner Roadrunner. I believe that it falls within your price-range, but I have internet bundled with my cable, and I can't remember the breakdown.

The service is good for the most part, but I do notice some latency in the evening, usually past 9pm-ish.

During the day, it's very fast and reliable.

I just ran a speedtest, and here are my results:

I live in North Carolina with a choice between AT&T and Road Runner. I chose AT&T 6.0m/512k because Time Warner is beginning to put caps on its service, the highest cap is only 40gb, which is ridicules. Here/ is a link to more info on that.

The good thing about DSL is that I get a constant 6 down, no matter how many people are online.
