iPhone Ease'd Jailbreak Iphone Wont Start

Hello Guys,

My brother has erased his iphone 3gs and now it wont start, when i try to restore i get error 3194 regarding host file edit, i tried doing this in 3 different pc but same problem. Tried jailbreaking again but no luck.. Please help we do not have any shsh bloobs or an backup and he does not remember how he had jailbreaked his iphone. he was on ios 4.3

DFU restore to 4.1 and jailbreak with jailbreakme.com or redsn0w

That or DFU restore to 6.1.3 and jailbreak with evasi0n
