Easiest way to get O2 unlocked phone in US?

Is there a good way to get a contract-less, unlockable iPhone shipped to the US from the UK? I know you can unlock a Pay & Go iPhone from O2 for £15, but does anyone know of a good way of getting the phone in the first place to the US?
