Easiest way to return 64gb black from Verizon for a white one?

, wanted a white one but all they had was black at the Verizon store... Now opening it up it was scratched up and can only imagine how much worse it will get ....

I want to return it, but I don't have another phone to use. Anyone know the best possible way?? Should I do it in 29 days ... Tomorrow? I think I'll have to pay the $35 restocking fee regardless

Calendar the date for 21 days (to be safe), and initiate the attempt to exchange/return/swap at that point. Demand will be very tight for the next few weeks.

I believe Verizon's return period is 14 days.
