Easiest way to split recorded tracks?

I have a huge box of records (probably about 50 or so) that i am recording in order to put on CD. I have about 10 of them done already, with each side of the record in its own garageband project. Now i need to go about splitting each side into separate tracks. Is there an app designed to streamline this process? I've tried splitting the tracks apart in garageband but it just takes forever.
I recall hearing that Toast has an app designed to record vinyls, is that what im looking for?
