Easiest way to sync bookmarks across mobile Safari and Brave on macOS?

Yes but I still need not to keep the bookmarks synced.

It looks like once you turn on Brave sync, it is automatic from that point and there is no mention of a on / off toggle.

Brave sync works only if you use Brave in all your devices though.

I looked for Xmarks, which I remember using with Firefox and Safari many years ago, and just learned it died in 2018.

Also found something supposedly similar called "BookMacster" but god it's cumbersome and expensive for what it does.
