on ebay..

looking at 20" iMacs and have heard the 2009 model has a better screen than the 07/08 models

what ways the best to decipher which im bidding on when looking on ebay?

thanks! problem with the codes is that ebay seems to be defaulting all the model numbers to a 'MB324B/A'

which doesnt match ANY of the 20" imacs listed on there or apples site

guess its just asking questions on the specs to determine wich!

I'm really reaching back for this, but....didn't the 20" screens have lesser quality ones, and the 24" have (relatively) nicer ones?

I do remember the screen issue. At the time, I was torn between the 2.16 20" white imac and the aluminum version; I choose the former because of the discussion of Apple cheaping out on the new screens.

yeah the 07-08 Al models were given cheap crappy TN panels rather than the IPS the 24/27/21.5 and white plastic iMacs all had/have

the 09 20" was given a high quality TN panel which still isnt as good as the IPS panels but alot better than the first 20" Al release
