If I purchase a 4K tv later this year what is the most straightforward way to view 4K videos from my 6s plus? Wasn't planning on purchasing Apple TV box but if that is the best option then may consider at some point.

Thanks

Definitely don't go for an Apple TV. They don't support 4K.

The easiest way is to get a TV that has a USB port on it and a built-in media player. Most TVs do nowadays but you need to make sure it has support for videos shot on iPhone, as some can only play certain formats (e.g. MP4). You'll need to do a little research to make sure.

I'm wondering this myself. I have a Vizio 4k tv, but not sure of any way to see the iPhone content in full 4k on the tv as of yet. Seems like nobody is talking about this. We now have a phone with 4k recording, only 1080p display on phone, where can we play it and see the benefit of the 4k. Time will hopefully tell.
