Hi,

Long time listener, first time caller. Well, not. I've been using my shiny new MBP for a few days now and have a question.

I use wireless networks in different places. In some places, I'm assigned an IP automatically, and others I'm on a static connection.

I've got these all defined - if I go into System Preferences | Network | I can change the location there. Is there a quicker way of doing this (ie having an icon on the desktop) I can click instead of going through these (admittedly minor) couple of steps?

Ta!

Try this:
Go up to the Apple icon in the upper left corner of your screen.
Go down to Location and pick the one you want there.
