"Easily" create before/after photos for my website and social media site

I need some way to create, crop, resize and merge several photos together to create a before & after photo for my social media sites.

I've seen some that can add several photos into one and those look fantastic much better than the two photo before & afters.

This will have to be able to be done on a MacBook Pro.
