Easily Getting Movies onto the iPhone

I have a 64 GB phone, and I'd load more movies onto if it was easy. Other than purchasing off itunes, is there a converter (for a Mac) that can easily upload any file type to iTunes?

Another vote for handbrake. Free and simple, works reliably. You can also load up a queue and just let it run overnight so in the morning you have a fresh batch of converted movies
