East Coast 4S Preorder from Apple

Ok..

So i know there are other threads about this, but I wanted to just have it all in one place.

For people who ordered from Apple, and are on the East Coast, do you have a tracking number yet from UPS OR Apple? I ordered at around 5AM, 32 Black ATT.

I am just worried I won't get it on friday.
 
Pittsburgh PA, 32GB, black, ATT.

Preparing for shipment. No tracking number from UPS or FedEx. Ordered 10/7 5am EST from :apple:.

I'm not worried about the delivery though. We'll get it 10/14, I'm pretty sure of it.

if it says oct 14 u will get it mine still says processing and im not worried, tracking info means nothing right now they are all gonna get shipped before the 14th
 
New York, NY, 16gb White AT&T from apple store. Ordered at 3:45am on Friday and received a tracking number this morning. Package departed HK with delivery on the 14th.
 
I'm on the east coast and ordered in store at Verizon.
I got an email saying I should get it on the 14th.

Not tracking number or shipping email yet.

I'm assuming I'll get something on the 12th (for 2 day shipping) and get it the 14th.
 
Ordered a AT&T 16GB White 4S on Apple. Still says perparing for shipment. I ordered around 4 A.M. through Apple's online reservation process. Filled out the final steps around 7 A.M. when they sent me the email to complete. Was hoping to get it early since I'll be at work selling the phone to everyone else (AT&T Employee), and I jsut happen to be off the two days before Friday. If not, I'll have to run home on Friday and pick the package up. I'm not worried. I was just hoping I'd get it early if I happened to preorder early. Ah well. Next year I'll just take my time.
 
Ordered 16GB White AT&T, got a tracking number for shipping to Philadelphia. It just landed in Anchorage, AK. Don't worry, there are a LOT of barcodes for those poor UPS workers to scan; I'm sure you'll be getting your tracking number soon!
 
I'm just outside of Boston and ordered an AT&T 64gb White one around 7:30 PM. Mine's still on processing with Apple but it says it should be delivered by the 14th.

NY - Ordered around 1:30PM EST 10/7. Preparing for shipment but no tracking number on either shipping website. (Verizon 16G White from Apple online store)
 
Long Island Here. I ordered a 16gb black on pre order day at about 7:00am and I have a tracking number
 
Bel Air, MD. 32GB black with AT&T.
Reserved at 3:45am on Friday...then completed order at 7:00am.
Got email from Apple containing tracking# at 6:50am today.
 
From everything I've seen, the people that ordered 32GB ones still don't have tracking #'s.

I ordered mine Friday morning around 10:30 AM, and I'm still stuck on preparing for shipment as well.
 
NYC, 64GB White AT&T from apple store online. Ordered at 10:45 am on Friday. Shipped via UPS. Package departed HK with delivery on the 14th.

Long Island here too. White 64GB. No tracking number yet. Reserved around 5 AM, completed order around 10:30 AM. Been Preparing for Shipment for a couple of days now. Not worried about it coming on the 14th at all.
 
Los Angeles - 16gig Black - Ordered a couple hours after launch, no tracking info.

I know I'm not East Coast, but it looks like there isn't a geographic reason for any of this...

DC- Ordered at 5:30am via Apple app. 16GB white on AT&T. Shipped via UPS and left Hong Kong... Got the shipped email around 3am this morning.
 
MD- preordered 2 (white 32gb & black 32gb) on saturday through sprint
sunday i got a tracking number for the white 32gb
still waiting for the tracking info on the black 32gb
 
Don't worry!

Having done the preorder thing multiple times now I am pretty familiar with this. I promise you they already have phones sitting in warehouses in the states. They keep a lot in Tennessee if I recall correctly and many of us will probably get them from there. Most of the ones that are going out already are ones that are shipping from China. Not all of the orders come from there however. One year a lot of people did not get tracking numbers until the night before the release and people were freaking out and going crazy. EVERYONE got their phones the next day on release day. Apple has done this now for several years and is very good at it. Also, the addition of iPhones shipped by UPS and Fedex is nothing if you look at their total daily packages shipped as different times of the year. They can handle it easily.
 
New jersey, ordered 2 16gb, Friday morning at 7am. Have a tracking number for one, but still preparing for shipment on the other.
