I grew up watching this woman and now she has passed away after a battle with cancer

So Miss Brahms is no longer free. Weird, this. I would've expected Mollie Sugden to pass away first. Mollie's the Energizer Bunny, I tell you.

I still try to catch Are You Being Served? from time to time on our public TV station. Sure, it's somewhat lowbrow, but it's a classic on both sides of the Atlantic.

I never saw EastEnders...but I have seen Are You Being Served. That show had its moments!

I guess this news reminds us just how long it's been since some of those shows were made.

I remember her well on Being Served.
