Hey Everyone,

I just got my new ITouch (loving every second with it) and I was wondering if there is a way to change the default Album art pic (the one with the music notes) when album art is not found on ITunes. I just wanted to change it to something a little nicer. Is this something easily done?

Thanks everyone.

Chris, Baltimore, MD.

find and save the art you want to your computer, go to itunes, right click on the album or song you want to change the artwork for in itunes, click info, drag the image you just downloaded into the album art space, done

oh, if you're not a mac user you might have to browse for the image you want to insert instead of just dragging and dropping it, i'm not sure how it works on windows machines

right...

you guys aren't answering the question.
it's pretty obvious i could just drag a generic picture to the artwork box,
and if that were the case, I might as well put the right artwork.

I'm looking to replace the default image so I don't have to go and drag-and-drop images for unfound artwork. I'd rather have my blank CD or Vinyl record image than Apple's square music note image.

iTunes Artwork VinylTunes 1.4 is freeware that claims "Add a new Default Album Artwork." But I can't personally vouch for it.

Thanks, I'll check it out when I get a chance.
I went through all my music and used the Amazon Art widget.
But I had trouble with some older iTunes purchased/protected music that wouldn't keep the artwork saved.
So at least having my own custom missing artwork thumb will be cool.
