I am getting the iPhone 11 Pro, trading in my iPhone XS Max. I have used the Spigen clear Ultra Hybrid case for it this entire year. In some ways, it is fine. I like the clear since you can at least somewhat see the color. (I am ordering the midnight green). But, it has two issues. One, it does add bulk. I took the case off yesterday and the phone felt half as thick and so much lighter. This is supposedly a light case, but I don't like the feel of it. So, I am thinking of not using a case at least when I am at home. I would still carry the phone in a case when leaving the house. Which brings up point 2 on the Spigen.

That thing is not easy to get off. Putting it back on is fairly easy, but pulling it off is a chore.

So, what I think I want is a case that I can use when away from home, but is easy to take on and off. Years ago I had an Apple silicone case and it was easy to take off but I haven't used one in years. Is it still easy to take off?

I would be open to a folio case (the Apple Aubergine looks nice) or possibly a sleeve. I am very intrigued by the Waterfield fused suede sleeve. Or possibly the Finn zippered pouch. I realize that a sleeve or a pouch protects the phone during transit but not use. And, some pouches may be too tight so it is hard to get the phone out?

Has anyone used any of those cases? Are they hard to remove the phone?

Oh - I usually buy a card holder to stick on the back of the case. So the case either has to have the ability to keep a couple of cards (the folio, waterfield and Finn do this) or would allow gluing on a card holder.

I am convinced that there is no magically thin case that I will like. I am willing to use a real case away from home (I mean one where there is a case on the phone while being used, not just a sleeve) IF and only if I can quickly and easily take the phone out of the case when I get home. Any ideas?

As I write this there are 122 views and no responses. Does anyone have an Apple silicone case or folio case (recent ones). If so how easy (or hard) are they to remove the phone? What about the Waterfield? Any other cases that are easy to remove?

The Apple Battery case would be the easiest to take it on and off. Also theApple silicone case is still simply easy.

Try a Ringke Fusion-X. Great looking, great protection and easy to get off to clean. Cheap enough to try it out.

Was my fave case until I got a Spigen Gauntlet.
