Easy to use AIM and/or FaceBook interceptor

I'm in need for an easy to use AIM and/or FaceBook interceptor. Any ideas? Something easy enough for my mom to use, who isn't too tech savvy.

What do you mean by interceptor? Blocker? Keylogger? If you want to block it you can probably do it in your router - my router can block both URLs and ports.

I noticed that Parental Controls allows logging of iChat messages. Does this include all chats? Or just chats through .Mac IM accounts?

Basically I have someone in need of a method of figuring out what her daughter is chatting about (IM) and what her daughter is writing on Facebook.
