Hello
Have you ever seen someone use the iPad as a remote monitor for a computer before, and if so, does it run without lag?
I am thinking about buying a stationary computer which I can easily upgrade whenever I'd like (RAM, CPU, hard drives, everything can be upgraded separately) and then just keep that computer in the basement.
Most of the time the iPad will only function as an iPad, of course. The iPad Air 2 will have a bluetooth keyboard and a bluetooth mouse, and whenever there is some application that needs to be run in Windows (which happens from time to time), or when the extra speed of a stationary computer is needed, I can make the iPad function as a remote monitor for the computer, and then I can run Windows software via the iPad.
The question is, though, when using the iPad as a remote monitor, will it lag? And how difficult will it be to make use of the touch screen if the iPad is being used as a remote monitor?
